Established in 2002 by Dr. Jennifer Shapka, The Developmental Change and Technology Lab (DCTech) is engaged in research about children's and adolescents' development as it occurs within an increasingly technological world.
We have defined development broadly, with projects focusing on physical, cognitive and socio-emotional development. The members of our lab work in a collaborative setting and value new ideas and multiple methods of inquiry. The DCTech lab offers many opportunities for its student participants to explore their own research interests, to take part in a range of different projects, and to generally develop their abilities as social science researchers. |
